Data Protection

Welcome to RHODIUS Mineralquellen und Getränke GmbH & Co. KG!

Thank you very much for your interest in our website and our company. The protection of your data and your privacy are of utmost important to us. In order to ensure that you know the full extent of the collection and use of personal data on our websites, please take the following information into account.

Anonymous Data Collection

You can generally visit our websites without telling us who you are. We store neither the name of your internet service provider, nor the website from which you are accessing us, nor the name of the file you have requested.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Data submitted by you in the contact form such as name, company, e-mail and telephone are stored and used by us for the purpose of individual communication with you. Please note that the transmission of the data is not encrypted and therefore no confidential information should be sent via the contact form.

Cookies

Among other methods our website also uses so-called cookies which serve to make our internet site on the whole safer and more user-friendly and effective—such as when it is important to speed up the navigation on our site. In addition, cookies enable us to measure such things as the frequency of page views and the general navigation process. Cookies are small text files which are placed into your computer system. We point out that some of these cookies are embedded in your computer system by our server; these are the so-called session cookies. Session cookies are characterised by the fact that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a given browser session. Other cookies stay on your computer system and allow us to recognize your computer system at your next visit (so-called permanent cookies). You can of course refuse cookies at any time, to the extent that your browser allows this.

Use of Facebook-Plug-ins

We have integrated so-called plug-ins of the social network facebook.com (referred to from now on as “Facebook”) into our internet site. Facebook is an enterprise of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.

With every accessing of a website of our internet presence which is furnished with such a plug-in, the plug-in directs the browser used by you to load and display the optical illustration of the plug-in from the Facebook server. By these means, the Facebook server is told which specific website of our internet site you are visiting at that moment. If you are a member of Facebook and during this visit to our internet site are also logged in at Facebook, Facebook recognizes through the information sent from the plug-in which specific website of our internet site you are visiting at that moment and directs this to your personal user account on Facebook. If you activate one of the plug-ins, such as by clicking of the “Like” button or by posting a comment, this will be sent to your personal user account on Facebook and stored there. In addition, the information that you visited our internet site will be transmitted to Facebook independently of whether you activate a plug-in or not. In order to prevent the transfer and storage of data about you and your surfing behavior by Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our internet site. In the data protection information of Facebook you will find more information about the accessing and use of data by Facebook, on your rights relating to this, and on the possibilities regarding use of settings to protect your privacy.

Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are text files stored on your computer and allow the website to analyze its use by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on a Google server in the USA. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operator and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will also transfer these data to third parties when indicated, if this is required by law or to the extent that third parties commissioned by Google process these data. Google will not in any case associate your IP address with other data of Google’s.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the corresponding setting of your browser software; we point out to you, however, that in this case you may not be able to use fully all functions of this website where appropriate. By use of this website you declare yourself in agreement with the collection of the data about you through Google in the previously described manner and for the previously specified purpose. The capture and storing of data can be revoked at any time effective for the future. You will find our contact address for revocation under Item 7 of the present data protection statement. Alternatively you can use the deactivation add-on from Google Analytics (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) if it is available for your browser.

Your attention is directed to the fact that this website uses Google Analytics with additional IP anonymisation and therefore IP addresses are further processed only in shortened form in order to exclude the possibility of direct linking to a particular individual.

Right to Information

n accordance with the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (German Federal Data Protection Act) you have the right to information without cost regarding your stored data as well as a right, if indicated, to correction, blocking or deletion of these data.
